Mohegan Sun's Poker Player of the Month

Players who participate in any Mohegan Sun multi-table poker tournament or play in a cash game in the qualifying period will be eligible for the Poker Player of the Month promotion.

Any player who participates in a Mohegan Sun daily poker tournament (major and special tournaments not included) will receive one promotional point just for participating. Players who make it to the final table will receive additional promotional points for their finish.

Mohegan Sun Poker Room Now Offers Badugi!

Play a new and exciting variation of draw poker at Mohegan Sun.

Badugi is a draw poker game where players are dealt four cards at the start of the hand. Players will have three drawing rounds where they can trade zero to four cards from their hands for new ones, in an attempt to form the best Badugi hand and win the pot.

1. A Badugi hand must be made up of the lowest one to four cards from a player's hand.
2. Hands are counted from the highest card down, the value of the hand based on how low the highest cards in the hand are.
3. Aces are low.
4. All cards used must be of different suits and ranks.
5. Any four-card Badugi beats any three-card Badugi.
6. A two-card Badugi is beaten by any three or four-card Badugi.
7. A 2 3 4 - This is the best possible Badugi, known as a "four-card four."

Mohegan Sun's High Hand Jackpot

The High Hand Jackpot is a player funded jackpot awarded as much as 6 times daily.

High Hand Collection Periods & Qualifying Periods
Jackpot collections throughout the week:
(Start and end times have to coincide with the announcement that Jackpot is beginning or ending.)

10:00am-1:00pm    2:00pm-5:00pm     6:00pm-9:00pm     10:00pm-1:00am    2:00am-5:00am     5:00am-9:00am

The Jackpot collection ends on Saturday 5:00pm and begins again on Sunday at 5:00am.

Example: The collection for the 1PM Jackpot will occur from the hours of 10:00am-1:00pm. After 1:00pm the amount of the Jackpot shall be announced. The Jackpot will be awarded after 1:00pm to the highest hand which meets all Jackpot qualifications between the hours of 10:00am & 1:00pm.

The HHJP will run Sunday through Friday. The first Jackpot collection period of the week would begin on Sunday 5:00am and the first jackpot awarded of the week would be Sunday 9:00am. The final collection of the week would begin at 2:00pm on Saturday and the last jackpot payout of the week would be awarded at 5:00pm on Saturday.

Jackpots may be cancelled during holidays and other special events.

The following are the real money (non-tournament), games that qualify for the High Hand Jackpot:
Texas Hold'em limits: 2-4, 3-6, 4-8, 5-10, 6-12, 9-18, & 10-20No Limit Texas Hold'em: 1-2, 2-5 Seven card Stud (High Only): 1-3, 1-5, 5-10, & 10-20

• 5 or more players must be dealt into the hand.
• We have made the announcement that the jackpot collection will begin. An announcement that the collections will cease officially ends the jackpot collection.
• In Texas Hold'em the winning hand must include both the hole cards. In the event that the High Hand is a Four-of-a-Kind, the two hole cards must be a pocket pair.
• The hand must be raked and jackpot contribution collected from the hand in order for the hand to qualify for the HHJP.
• In the event that the same two or more qualifying Jackpot hands are hit within the same qualifying period, the Jackpot shall be divided evenly among all of the equal high hands.
• Players must play their hands independently and cannot tell opponents how to act or reveal their hand to other players. Violations will disqualify the hand for the Jackpot.
• Players must have valid identification for his/her hand to qualify.
