Qualifying Contests

  1. Qualifying contests are "live money" events scheduled to be held the following weekends: July 31st- August 1st, August 7th & 8, 14 & 15, 21 & 22, and August 28th & 29th. A final qualifying event will be held September 11th.
  2. The player with the highest account total for each contest will receive a free entry into the Championship Qualifier on September 11th. Repeat winners will receive multiple entries in the Championship based on the number of qualifying contest victories recorded. Earned entries are not transferable or assignable, and become null and void if unused by a qualifier.
  3. Entry fee for each qualifier is $40. There is a limit of five entries per player per contest.
  4. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the qualifier entry fees will be returned as prize money to the contest winner.
  5. Players retain any monies in their accounts at the end of each contest.
  6. Prize money will be divided equally to all entrants finishing in the top position.
  7. Wagers will be accepted at designated areas in the Mohegan Sun Race Book until the close of the contest.
  8. All entrants must be present at Mohegan Sun to participate in the contest; however, you need not be present to win. There will be no refunds.
  9. Palm Beach Kennel Club and Saratoga Race Course will be used exclusively for all contest wagers. Mohegan Sun reserves the right to substitute tracks in cases of cancellation or conditions.
  10. Each entry is allowed $30 maximum contest wagering dollars per account for the contest day. No monies may be added or withdrawn from a contest account, under penalty of disqualification, before the contest results are made official by Mohegan Sun management.
  11. Contestants are required to make ten (10) contest wagers: five $3 win wagers at Palm Beach and five $3 win wagers at Saratoga. Entries with more or less than the ten designated wagers, or any deviation from win wagering only, will result in disqualification.
  12. Each contest wager must be made on only one horse/greyhound per race. The wager must be win only. Any deviation will result in disqualification.
  13. In the event of a late scratch in the last race of the contest, the wager will be deemed a winner and the $3 bet will be added to the player's account.
  14. The winner of each contest is the contestant who accumulates the most money in their account at the end of the contest. In the event of a tie for first, the account opened the earliest will be declared the winner. Results will not be official until verified by Race Book management.

  1. Entry fee for the Championship qualifier is $100. There is no limit to the number of times a player may enter the Championship qualifier.
  2. Fifty percent (50%) of the qualifier entry fees will be returned as prize money to the top five finishers.
  3. Each entry is allowed $50 maximum contest wagering dollars per account for the contest day. No monies may be added or withdrawn from a contest account, under penalty of disqualification, before the contest results are made official.
  4. Contestants are required to make ten contest wagers: five (5) $5 win wagers at Palm Beach and five (5) $5 win wagers at Belmont. Entries with more or less than the ten designated wagers, or any deviation from win wagering only, will result in disqualification.
  5. Each contest wager must be made on only one horse/greyhound per race. The wager must be win only. Any deviation will result in disqualification.
  6. The winner of the contest is the contestant who accumulates the most money in their account at the end of the contest. Results will not be official until verified by Race Book management.
