Two IFL stars, Roy Nelson (Las Vegas, Nevada) and Ryan Schultz (North Platte, Nebraska) will make their second respective title defenses and another, Ryan McGivern (Bettendorf, Iowa) will make his first when the International Fight League returns to Mohegan Sun Arena, with a minimum of nine bouts scheduled.

The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) will bring the world's top professional darters and North America's promising young throwers to the Northeast's premier entertainment destination for the PDC US Open and North American Darts Championships on May 16th through 18th in The Cabaret Theatre.

World Champion John Part, of Oshawa, Canada, will be leading the field of players challenging defending champion Phil Taylor for the PDC US Open.

A new event has also been introduced alongside the PDC US Open, allowing darters from the US and Canada the chance to claim the inaugural North American Darts Championship. The winner of the $50,000 event will take home $15,000, with Part, ranked number four in the world, expected to be challenged by top Americans John Kuczynski, Ray Carver and Gary Mawson as well as Canadian stars Gerry Convery and Dan Olson. The North American Darts Championship will be played down to the semi-finals on Friday, May 16th, with the last four then doing battle on stage on Saturday evening.

Play in the PDC US Open will be down to the last 16 on Friday, with matches on stage in The Cabaret Theatre accompanied by simultaneous play on 32 boards.

The latter stages will then be played exclusively on stage in The Cabaret Theatre, with the last 16 competing on Saturday and the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final being played on Sunday.

The Golden Boys consist of members Frankie Avalon, Fabian, and Bobby Rydell, three of the most sought-after teen idols of the 50s and 60s whose stardom has continued to endure with the help of their producer Dick Fox.
