Bar Americain, an American brasserie, celebrates the foods of America with a healthy dose of the bold flavors Bobby Flay is most known for.
"I'm thrilled to introduce Bar Americain at Mohegan Sun," said Bobby. "Here too I will celebrate the vast culinary traditions found in the US while also featuring dishes that showcase the wealth of ingredients and traditions of New England and, given our location, that of the Native American culture."
With a menu that ranges from Shrimp-Tomatillo, Crab-Coconut and Lobster-Avocado Shellfish Cocktails to Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Black Pepper Biscuits and Brookdale Farm's Honey Sauce, Bobby combines his American menu with the energetic fast pace of the time-honored European brasserie.
The 276-seat restaurant, designed by Rockwell Group, features traditional brasserie elements while mixing "Hollywood" banquettes in the dining room. The restaurant will also feature a large exposed Raw Bar, highlighting a bounty of seafood from New England and beyond. Bar Americain's familiar zinc-top bar will warmly welcome both restaurant and hotel clients, as they enter the restaurant via the colorful marble tile floor.
